Dr Shalini was born in Hyderabad and completed her medical training at the prestigious Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, Telangana.

She pursued further higher training both in the United Kingdom and USA. After completing post-graduation in General/Internal Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, she practiced in the USA for over 10 years (Nebraska and New York).

In 2017, she completed training in Obesity Medicine and was certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Since then, she has helped numerous people in their weight loss journey as a Medical weight management physician and continues to want to make a difference.

She utilizes a multi-pronged approach to help people achieve their goals. She moved back to Hyderabad in 2020, during the pandemic to be closer to family and serve her people.
