She is an American board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She was on Endocrine Faculty for the Franciscan Health System in the United States before deciding to move back to India in the year 2017. Apart from the management of common endocrine disorders, she holds expertise in the use of technology like Insulin Pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) in the management of diabetes. She is trained in the performance of Thyroid Ultrasound, Fine Needle Aspiration and Biopsy of thyroid nodules and results interpretation. She underwent dedicated training at the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston (USA) in the management of endocrine-related cancers like thyroid cancer and adrenal cancer.
